This past week in Norfolk, Virginia a group of building managers from area YMCA locations participated in a GCI Technician education class. This class was taught by GCI instructor, Frank Oncken, with Cavalier.

There has been a jump in participation in the GCI courses as we have gone through this summer. There are several notable groups of graduates you will notice coming from all around the USA. With more organizations starting to recognize the impacts on workers health, the GCI information hits home.
I welcome each and every graduate to the growing list of the thousands who have achieved this honor before them.
So, here are the individuals and operations for the past three months, 2013.
One of the more committed cleaning services in Lima, Peru is New Hidroclean S.A.C.. Lorena Muro worked with the cleaning team to train them as Green Clean Technicians. Hidroclean serves the Cámarade Comercio de Lima. The Green Clean Institute is pleased to have the ability to provide educational support for the fine staff of New Hidroclean S.A.C.

As I finished by morning bike ride, which I do every other day, I couldn’t help but look at my reflection on the pavement and remember what has happened in my 56 years on this planet; you see today is my birthday and my body is now working against me.

This summer I added the GHS course to our offering and have had rave reviews of the material. More and more organizations are talking about the lack of understanding EHS services have on this issue. Many think it doesn't apply to them and others are just waiting till they have too.
